Logistics

Field notes

Getting There

Arrive via Naples Airport (NAP) followed by a 1.5-hour private Mercedes transfer along the coastal road or high-speed hydrofoil to Positano dock.

Avoid renting a car. The hotel has valet parking but the coastal road suffers extreme summer gridlock. Luggage porters meet guests at the drop-off point.

The Playbook

Book dining and boat charters 90 days in advance.

Reserve private gozzo boat excursions to Capri and sunset champagne cruises well ahead for peak June through September dates.

Good to Know

Vertical village stairs and dense foot traffic.

Reaching the beach or exploring village shops requires descending and climbing hundreds of steep stone stairs. The hotel pool terrace is intimate rather than expansive.
