Fly into Kona International Airport (KOA). The resort is a direct 30-minute drive north via Highway 19 (Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy). The entrance is clearly signed on the ocean side of the highway.

Visit Manta Ray Point (just below the restaurant) around 6:30 PM. The hotel turns on floodlights that attract plankton, bringing manta rays within inches of the shore. Snorkel gear can be rented at the beach shack.
