From Leknes Airport (LKN), take the E10 highway south, then turn onto Nusfjordveien. The road winds through narrow granite passes and is prone to winter ice and rockfalls; high-clearance 4WD vehicles are recommended from November to April.
Rorbu Selection & Dining
The historic cabins are authentic and closer to the water, whereas the newly built cabins offer modern styling and layouts. Book dinners at Karoline Restaurant when making your cabin reservation, as walk-in availability is rare.
Seclusion & Exposure
The resort is set deep inside an isolated fjord with no local shops, grocery stores, or restaurants outside the property. Cabins are spread across rocky docks and wooden slipways, requiring walks in cold, wet, or icy coastal conditions.
