Take I-87 North to Exit 18 at New Paltz, then follow Route 299 West to Route 208 South to Gardiner. The entrance on Route 44/55 is clean but discreet. Arrive before dusk to easily navigate the farm tracks.

Reserve farm tours, baking classes, and dining at Clay at least 30 days in advance, as weekend slots fill quickly with day visitors.
Open Meadow Walkways
The standalone cabins are beautifully spread across a wide meadow, which means reaching the main pavilion and dining room requires a walk along outdoor gravel paths — lovely on clear days, but requiring an umbrella or warm layers in raw weather.
